Medical practice News

We wish all our patients a Happy New Year and would like to thank all the kind patients for their gifts and good wishes over the Christmas period.

On Boxing Day there was a power cut in the town this caused our telephone system to fail and despite our best efforts we were unable to rectify this situation as our telephone providers systems also failed we were therefore without telephones until Wednesday 28th December. We apologise for any inconvenience this caused we did alert the out of hours services and display the contact details of the out of hours service on the doors of the surgeries and our website.

The out of hour’s service is for medical emergencies only when the surgery is closed:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 6.30 pm – 8.30 am

Wednesday 6pm – 8.30 am

Saturday and Sunday all day

They can be reached by calling either surgery number 01379 853217/852213 you will then be redirected or directly on 01603 488488. For health advice please call NHS Direct on 0845 46 47.

The Patient Participation Group is currently carrying out an appointment survey these are anonymous and be collected (and returned) at either surgery or Harleston Information Plus. The survey is available until the end of January the results will be discussed in March and subsequently published in April. We would be very grateful for your assistance in filling out this survey.
