WHEELCHAIR AMNESTY

The Bullock Fair Surgery usually has three wheelchairs which we loan to patients on a temporary basis when their mobility is impaired, to transport them from their cars to the surgery etc.

Currently all three wheelchairs have been borrowed and not returned.

If you have one of our chairs please return it to the Bullock Fair Surgery other patients are in need of it.

Whooping cough cases increase

Cases of whooping cough (pertussis) reported to the Health Protection Agency (HPA) in England and Wales have more than doubled from 421 cases in 2010 to 1040 in 2011. Increases in levels of whooping cough are seen every three to four years and figures in 2011 are in line with cases reported in the last peak year of 2008.

Repeat Prescriptions

Order Your Repeat Prescription Online

Please allow at least two working days for your prescription to be processed. Please leave three working days if any of your medication needs to be reauthorised by a doctor.

Where possible please reorder your medication using the repeat slip attached to your prescription this can be placed through the letter box at the surgery, in person at reception or by post.

If you enclosed a stamped self addressed envelope with your request we will post the prescription back to you. If you mark your repeat slip with 'chemist' we will send it to the chemist in Harleston who will prepare it ready for you to collect from them.

From 30th June 2008 telephone reordering will only be accepted if you are unable to attend the surgery for a medical reason.

Public Holidays

We are always considerably busier in the dispensary at these times. Please ensure you order your repeat prescription in plenty of time - it is unlikely that we will be able to process your prescription without the required Two Full Working Days.

Collecting Medication

Would you like to make just one journey a month to the dispensary? We are able to synchronise your prescription to ensure that all your medications are due at the same time. Please ask in the dispensary about this service.

Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 18.30 pm

Wednesday 8.30 am to 18.00 pm

The dispensary will be closed between 1.00 -2.00 for lunch.

Please allow at least two working days for your prescription to be processed (three working days if a GP needs to re authorise your medication).
